Or even later, if the '''carrier''' finds themselves not having enough energy to share with the forming newspark. To raise the chances of the newspark surviving this stage and taking some of the burden of its forming from the carrier, charge donation is used through regular merging of sparks most often and preferably with the partner who contributed to the creation of the newspark in the first place. Merging the sparks of the "'''carrier'''" with the "'''sire'''" is also recommended because not only the lack of energy can be an obstacle to the development of a newspark.
